We bring to you the authentic ‘Andhra Prawn Fry’ which unleashes the richness of prawns in the best way possible. Recipe by: Bagundi Food stylist: The Food Frame INGREDIENTS: 150g CLEANED PRAWNS 12-15 CURRY LEAVES 7-8 GREEN CHILLI 1tsp CUMIN SEEDS 3 RED CHILLI WHOLE 5 tbsp. REFINED OIL 10 tbsp. CHOPPED ONION 1 tsp. CHOPPED GINGER 6 tbsp. CHOPPED TOMATO 1 tsp. CHOPPED GARLIC 1 tsp. CUMIN POWDER 1 tsp. GARAM MASALA 1 tsp. CORIANDER POWDER 11/2 tsp. RED CHILLI POWDER SALT TO TASTE 1 ½ tsp. FRESHLY CHOPPED CORIANDER 2-3 tsp. TAMARIND PULP ½ tsp. TURMERIC POWDER 1 tsp. GINGER GARLIC PASTE 2/3 CUP WATER METHOD Marinate the prawns in ginger garlic paste with chilli powder, turmeric powder, and salt for 10 mins Add 1/4 cup of water to the marinated prawns and boil in medium flame for 6-8 mins. Drain excess water, if any Heat oil in a pan, add finely minced garlic and sauté for half a minute. Add sliced onions, curry leaves, green chilli and sauté Add ginger garlic paste and cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Then, add chopped tomato & sauté for 2 more minutes Add boiled prawns, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, red chilli powder, Kashmiri chilli powder and stir fry for 3 minutes.
